60%~ condition Winchester Model 1894 Semi-Deluxe Sporting Rifle manufactured in 1908. This desirable .32-40 Win. comes with factory checkering to the walnut forend and capped pistol grip buttstock. The 26” octagonal barrel is followed by a full-length magazine and topped with period-correct sights: A Winchester 21A rear sight with 1C elevator and a sporting 21B front sight. The always attractive crescent buttplate is in 80%+ condition. Full octagonal barrel retains 70% original blue with some minor signs of surface pitting throughout. Receiver has lost over 50% of bluing, but does not appear to be adulterated in any way and all the screwheads are perfect. The rifle’s mechanics function smoothly and are in excellent condition. Very fine bore with proud rifling throughout. Commensurate dings to the stock, but is in very good condition and fits true to the rifle in every way. All factory stamping is correct. Believed to be in all original condition, the configuration of this beautiful 1894 is not researchable by the Cody Museum and therefore non-confirmable. This is a good, honest rifle with many desirable attributes! If you are disappointed in this treasure, I will always take it back.
